2020 Fall Release
2019 seems like a different world in hindsight, but it was a turning point in the history of MDC. After several long years of working in corners of friends' wineries, we found a home in an ex-auto body shop in Berkeley. Our new (to us) winery space has been home to others for almost 15 years Donkey and Goat and Urbano Cellars to name a few. But as the Urbano crew was looking to retire, we offered to purchase their equipment and take over the lease to keep the good time rolling.
The harvest was filled with learning how to use the new space and the not so new equipment on the fly and was absolutely one of the most rewarding vintages to date. We couldn't be more happy with how the wines are showing on release. All are pure expressions of site and vintage and is definitely one of our most rewarding vintages to date.

Logistics
Orders will ship in September (barring weather holds). If you are a local Bay Area member, you are welcome to pick up at the winery! Pickup is available the weekend of September 12-13 from 12-4pm alongside our regularly scheduled tastings. We will coordinate with locals who cannot attend the release “party” to set a time for pickup or delivery.
